A little tour of Photodeck!

We are delighted which I now present PhotoDeck after 9 years of use.
Photodeck may be a little less well known than Zenfolio, Photoshelter or others, but it offers solid arguments for any photographer who is serious about his or her professional approach.

After 2 years with Zenfolio, it was only after careful personal research into my real needs that I realised PhotoDeck was the platform I needed.

PhotoDeck is pretty comprehensive, and built for photographers and videographers alike.

As soon as you open a trial account, you enter the backend. Lhe interface is clear and uncluttered, and can be used on the desktop as well as on a tablet or smartphone!

The first impression is that the system reacts quickly - very quickly!

The dashboard

In the " dashboard "Here you'll find your latest modified galleries, visit statistics, the site activity log: purchases, downloads, customer accounts, etc., and Photodeck news at a glance.

My images and videos

In the my images and videosYou can manage your images and videos in the form of galleries, sub-galleries, collections and smart collections. In the right-hand sidebar, you can edit metadata, assign price profiles, share on social networks, etc.

In each gallery and sub-gallery, you can adjust the style in which the images are displayed, i.e. the way in which the gallery is presented.

Customisation is simple and effective! Gallery layout, image size and shape, display mode, display location and metadata behaviour, price displays, buttons, etc.

Visibility and access to the galleries can be controlled, by person with an individual password or by general access etc...

A written introduction or slideshow at the top of each gallery can be configured and customised, as well as SEO for each gallery, comment management, gallery expiry and automation!

Automation are also Photodeck's strong points: when adding images to a gallery or collection, it is possible to automate actions such as:

assign a title and description, and add or remove keywords.
publish in one or more galleries or add to a collection.
assign price profiles.
re-apply settings to previously imported images. It is also possible to automate the import into a gallery based on a keyword search.

You guessed it: the system search function.

PhotoDeck is pretty powerful and worthy of a media library catalogue!

The section my siteThis is the complete site configuration area. Choice of CSS theme, CSS customisation, logo, specific page, site menu, social network configuration, etc.
The system installation is in this section: url, language management, google check, bing... redirection, overall SEO of the site.

The last section, known as shop "You can also configure price profiles, taxes, baskets, customer accounts, mailings, orders, quotes and invoices.

for the tax or VAT profiles (meeting the needs of the French complexity for the professional or private buyer, whether a member of the EU or not... and this simply in one and the same profile).
for product profiles, it is of course possible to set up any product or support for your photos, including commercial items such as T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, etc. or even the sale of digital files, or even better, to create mixed product packs (digital, licences and products) made to measure.
